Thanksgiving Football

This year the Cowboys and Redskins played each other for the seventh time on Thanksgiving day. The Cowboys beat the Redskins, 31-26, in a very entertaining game. The Cowboys, lead by rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, have the best record in the NFL right now (10-1). They are also a favorite to go to the Super Bowl this year.

The Lions played the Vikings and won, 16-13. After both teams scored a touchdown in their first drive, there was nothing but defense. With 38 seconds left in the game, the Lions’ Darius Slay caught an interception from Vikings’ quarterback Sam Bradford to set up the Lions game winning field goal.

The final game on thanksgiving day was the Steelers vs. the Colts. The Steelers beat down the Colts winning, 28-7.
