The winter season has almost arrived and, with most families, decorations have come out of storage. Some families wait until the day after Thanksgiving to begin the decoration process, while others wait until later into the month of December. A poll on LJworld.com states that the majority of people put up lights or decorations the day after Thanksgiving. The second most popular time is early December.
When asked about the right time to decorate for the holiday season, Abby Mortimer states, “Whenever you feel like it, personally though, I like to decorate in early October. But it all comes down to preference.”
Regarding strategies for decorating Abby says, “Focus on one room at a time, and plan out your decoration placement. Festive music always helps with getting into the spirit.
Being creative is always a hard thing to do when it comes to decorating, but hopefully with these tips, you can be properly prepared for the oncoming holiday season.
