1. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack – Silly, and quite odd, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack was on the weirder side of children’s programming, but most of us have seen at least one episode before. The show consists of Flapjack; a young and naive sailor boy, who was raised by a whale named Bubbie, and Captain K’nuckles. Unusual, right? The show ran from 2008 to 2010, and reruns played on Cartoon Network until 2014.

2. Rainbow Loom – Invented in 2011, these bracelets were worn by everyone who could get their hands on one. It began with regular looping, and the bracelets kept getting bigger, and bigger. Some people even turned the loom into an internet sensation by making phone cases and clothing with the rubber bands and plastic weaving tools.

3. Avril Lavigne – known for her hit single, Girlfriend, Avril Lavigne is an artist who often writes songs about her love life, with a grunge-pop style. Nobody really seems to talk about her anymore, but she’s super popular in Japan. Lavigne even released a new single last year, by the name of “Fly”.

4. MP3 Players –
most popular in the earlier 2000’s, MP3 players were the best thing since CDs. Music was

either bought from an online store, or you burned CDs onto your computer and then synced them with your device. Crazy how things can change in only a couple of years, right? Now, people usually use MP3 Players while working out, or at work. Other than that, people have become accustomed to listening to music on their phones.
