The Lady Falcons Favorite Ball Girl

The 2016 field girls soccer team had an amazing season while winning the PTC championship by defeating cloverleaf. Throughout the season the team had a little helper on the side lines. Her name is Haley Hersberger, sophomore Kylie Hershberger’s little sister. Hayle was the teams ball girl. She worked hard and did her best to always be there with a ball when it was needed. Haley is nine Years old and has played soccer her whole life.

Haley told me that she looks up to everyone on the soccer team. She also told me that her favorite part of the season was when the team beat cloverleaf. Haley even wrote a book for school about the game.

In the book she writes about all of her favorite players including Keira Childers. “Keira is my favorite player because she always includes me in everything,” Haley says.

She also writes about all the goals that were made and how she loves being apart of the team.

Haley is always there cheering the team on and putting a smile on everyones face. Even when the team was losing she always had an amazing and positive attitude. There is no doubt that the whole team loves having her around. To show the teams appreciation for her the captain got her a present that included a lady falcon ball girl t-shirt, that Haley loves.
