Top 3 Metal Albums of The Year

This year was an amazing year for the fans of metal music!

Fans of metal music were given plenty of great albums to listen to and a bunch of personal favorites released some great records.

At number three for this year is Dusk and Her Embrace: The Original Sin by Cradle of Filth.

Cradle of Filth is one of the biggest bands in modern black metal, which is seen as one of the darkest genres in all of metal for its Gothic themes and harsh writing. Even though the album is technically a “reissue” of the album it still packs a punch even years later.

Coming in at number two for this year is Mark of The Blade by Whitechapel. Whitechapel is one of the leading deathcore bands that was one of the first to break the mainstream line and open up into bigger audiences. This album has pounding rhythms and for the first time ever for whitechapel, clean singing.

For number one we have Headspace by Issues. It’s a great album and it involves a bunch of different mixes of genres. The album is a constant reminder of how metal is evolving and continues to grow into the mainstream.
