The Cavaliers recently lost to the Kings in a close overtime game. In their last 8 games the Cavs have lost 6. This brings up a lot of finger pointing and question within the Cavaliers organization. Lebron James clearly in the middle of the chaos, has spoken to the media about their recent struggles. “It’s like when you don’t have bodies. It’s tough … The (expletive) grind of the regular season. We’re a top-heavy team. We have a top-heavy team. We top-heavy as (expletive). It’s me, [Kyrie Irving], [Kevin Love]. It’s top-heavy.” Lebron is obviously frustrated by the fact that GM David Griffen has not gone out and got a veteran backup point guard. The Cavs recently traded for sharpshooting guard Kyle Korver and he is transitioning into a Cavalier. Kyle is going to be vital down the stretch of the season to fill in for J.R. Smith as he starts rehab on his thumb. Lebron recently took to twitter to clarify a few things.”I’m not mad or upset at management cause Griff and staff have done a great job, I just feel we still need to improve in order to repeat…” It is obivous that the Cavs need to change something or make another move before the trade deadline is over, if they want to do what they did last year.
