Senior Spotlight: Tony Denny

This weeks Field High School Senior Spotlight is focused on Tony Denny.
I interviewed Tony this week asking about his time at Field High School and his plans for the future.
Tony has played football at Field since eighth grade and was and currently is a dabble is bowling.
“I was born to bowl.” Tony stated
Not only is Tony athletic but he is also a star in his academics. Tony has received the Scholar Athlete Award, PTC Honorable Mention, PTC All Trenches Team, and was also a team captain.
Tony has many examples of being a leader whether its through sports, grades or being crowned homecoming king at his 2016 senior homecoming with his girlfriend Gabrielle Shyne, which was his favorite moment at Field
“That was my favorite moment at Field it was awesome to be king and get to dance at homecoming.”
He also wanted to shout out that the football team had some great times and “Mrs. Underwoods chemistry class was also amazing.”

Tony plans to take his leadership skills in majoring in EMT and Para Medicine to become a paramedic. Tony is undecided to where he is attending but is between Akron and Stark State.

With graduation around the corner I asked Tony if he felt stressed or if he felt he had a good grip on his future.

“With graduation coming up I’m not really stressed, I’m staying cool like a cucumber. I have a good idea about my future but I mean I’ll take risks and let the dice roll and see what happens.” Tony responded
The thing Tony is going to miss the most about Field High is not being able to see his friends everyday and seeing his wonderful teachers. He feels college is going to be a bit harder but is ready for the challenge.
