The Field track team got their first win of the season beating Ravenna, 72-56.
Mason Campanelli tied for second place in the high jump, jumping 5 feet. Alex Savering jumped 18 feet 7 inches, taking first in the long jump and Steven Berry tied for second in the long jump, jumping 18 feet and an inch. The team of Stanley, Fetterhoff, Wilson and Krznarich were first in the 4×800 meter relay, running it in 9:49 seconds. Jacob Lupardus was first in the 110 meter hurdles, running it in 17.6 seconds. Alex Savering ran the 100 meter in 11.9 seconds, taking third place. Brett Lowden ran the 1600 meter in 4 minutes and 54 seconds, taking first. Andrew Johnson was first in the 400 meter, running it in 55 seconds. Jacob Lupardus took first in the 300 meter hurdles, running it in 46.8 seconds. Andrew Johnson was first in the 800 meter, running it in 2 minutes and 14 seconds. Brett lowden took first in the 3200 meter, running it in 10 minutes and 48 seconds. The team of Bowser, Hottensmith, Rose and Johnson were first in the 4×400 meter relay, running it in 3 minutes and 46 seconds. Isaiah Prather took second in both the discus and shot put, throwing the disc 109 feet 3 inches, and throwing the shot 37 feet 1 inch.
“I feel like we didn’t exactly do what we hoped to do on the throwing side,” Isaiah continued, “I’m still proud of the numbers everyone on the team got.”
