Water Parks

Being the first day of May, Summer is on the minds of many. The beautiful weather, the long days, the ice cream, (the no school), the concerts, and the water parks are few of the perks of the season. Ohio is not known for being a warm state, but the summers are still hot. Cooling off in the summer is the best in a water park. Luckily, Ohio has pretty great ones.

The number one pick is in Sandusky or in Mason, OH. Found attached with Cedar Point, Soak City in Sandusky is adorned with slides that are similar to the coaster, such as the Dragster H20. The Mason, OH location does not have the Cedar Point coasters, but instead features the amusement park King’s Island. This outdoor water park is worth a day in the heat!

Second on the list is Zoombezi Bay in Columbus. It is attached to a zoo, so see the animals, then go for a dip in the pool! A ticket includes entrance into the park, the zoo, and the aquarium. Bring your own towel to this attraction and anyone can swim all day!

The third and final is an indoor water park of Sandusky, OH, Kalahari. With a safari-inspired theme, this park features slides, a coaster, lazy rivers, along with a wave pool. The resort itself has a restaurant, a breakfast bar, and gift shops. It is all the fun without the sunburn. This park  is definitely worth a try. download.jpg

However the heat will be enjoyed in the Summer, make sure to hit one of these parks!
