The Field track team competed at the T-Con relays this past Friday. Field came in fourth out of five teams.
The 300m hurdle relay team of Bowser, Gilbert, Johnson, and Lupardus took fifth. The 4×200 meter relay team of Berry, Campanelli, Mack, and Savering took fifth, the same team also ran the 4×100 meter and took fifth. The discus team of Prather, Shinsky, and Holzapfel took fifth. Bret Lowden took fourth in the 3,200 meter run. The sprint medley team of Berry, Campanelli, Mack, and Bezik took fourth. The shot put team of Prather, Semler, and Alberson took fourth. The long jump team of Berry, Savering, and Grist took third. The shuttle hurdle team of Johnson, Gilbert, Mills, and Lupardus took third. The distance medley team of Kuntzman, Shinsky, Fetterhoff, and Krznarich took third. The 4×400 meter team of Savering, Rose, Bowser, and Johnson took second. The 4×800 meter team of Rose, Johnson, Bowser, and Hottensmith took first.
“Last year we won, so I came in with a positive attitude,” Isaiah Prather said about the relays, “but this year we didn’t do our best, so I’m pretty frustrated, but we are going to do well at PTC.”
The track team will be competing at the PTC meets this Wednesday and Friday. The meet starts at 3:30 on Wednesday, and 3:30 on Friday, they will be held at Crestwood high school.
