Ariana Grande is a famous pop singer, known for her role as Cat Valentine in Victorious. She is loved by many, however, a terrible occurrence was reported at her concert. In Manchester, England, there was a bombing as attendees were exiting. This left twenty-two dead by a lone bomb-carrier. Among the dead, eight-year old Saffie Rose Roussos, reported her school. Fifty-nine were left injured, including fatal injuries, and many are missing.
“Eyewitness Karen Ford had taken her 13-year-old daughter to the concert.
‘It was mayhem on the street, there were children crying, trying to get in touch with parents, parents on their phones trying to contact their kids,’ she said, adding that cell connection was poor as so many people were using their phones simultaneously.
‘I brought my baby home, which some people won’t be (able to do) tonight,'” an article about the accident on CNN.com stated.
According to the article, Charlotte Campbell’s daughter attended the show, a fifteen year old, and she (Charlotte Campbell), has not heard from her since.
The concert was full of families, as Ariana Grande appeals to that audience. She, along with other pop stars, have made their condolences known on social media.
The incident is being treated as a terrorist attack.
